Add, reorder, and delete blocks

A Linby page is built by stacking "blocks." Your profile, link list, text, and images are all blocks. This page covers adding, reordering, deleting, and duplicating blocks, and changing how they're shown — all on the "Edit page" tab.

Add a block

Tap "+ Add block" at the bottom of the page

From the list of "Block types," choose the type you want to add

For types with more than one view, choose one under "Select view"

Once added, the block appears at the bottom of the page, open and ready to edit

The blocks you can add include:

Profile — name, bio, icon
Text — headings and body copy
Link list — a list of multiple links (supports official social icons)
Share — a button for visitors to share your page
Mini game — a game you can place on your page
Image — a single photo, illustration, or banner (a link can be set too)
Image list — several images shown like a gallery
Card — one image + title + description shown large
Card list — several cards to display work or products
Schedule — a list of upcoming events
Embed — embeds like YouTube or Spotify
Link block — a single link shown as a button or preview card

Of these, Schedule, Card, and Card list can be added on the paid plan (Basic). Other blocks — including Image, Image list, Embed, and Link block — can be added on the free plan. You can check which blocks are available under Pricing.

Edit a block's content and save

Tap the block you want to edit to open it

On the "Content" tab, enter text, images, links, and so on

Press "Save" to apply it to your public page

Your edits are saved automatically as a draft and don't appear on your public page until you press "Save," so there's no worry about visitors seeing a work in progress.

Change how it's shown (the view)

You can swap the look while keeping the same content.

Open the block and go to the "View" tab

Choose a view from the list and the preview switches on the spot

Blocks with only one view don't show this tab.

Reorder

Grab the handle (⠿) at the left edge of a block and drag to change the order. On a phone, long-press a block to start dragging. Reordering applies right away.

Delete or duplicate

From the "⋮" menu at the right edge of a block, you can delete and duplicate.

Delete — deletes after a confirmation. It's removed from your public page right away
Duplicate — creates a block with the same content. The duplicate doesn't appear on your public page until you press "Save"

Once your content is in place, tidy up the look on Choose a theme and change the design.
