Line up work and products with Cards
The "Card list" block lines up "cards" — image, title, description, and link bundled together — to show them side by side. Good for a portfolio, introducing products or a menu, or displaying recommended links. Card lists can be added on the paid plan (Basic).
To show a single card large, use the "Card" block (Feature one item large with a Card). To line up only images, use "Image list" (Show multiple images in a gallery); to show a single image large, use the "Image" block.
Add cards
- 1
- 2On the "Content" tab, enter the following for each card
- Image (optional) — shown at the top (grid) or left (vertical list) of the card
- Title — the card's heading
- Description (optional) — shown small below the title
- Date (optional) — a date shown on the card
- Category (optional) — shown as a tag on the card. You can color-code by category (below)
- Link (optional) — added, it makes the whole card a button for that link
- 1Add more cards with "+ Add card"
- 2Press "Save" to apply it to your public page
Reorder
Grab the handle (⠿) at the top-left of each card and drag to change the order. Cards show in the order you arrange them, not the order you entered them (they don't auto-sort by date). If you want automatic sorting by date, use the "Schedule" block.
Choose a view
Keeping the same content, choose from four presentations on the "View" tab.
- Grid — cards in a grid. Change the number of columns (2–4) on the "Design" tab. Good for showing work or products as a list
- Vertical list — landscape cards (image left, text right) stacked vertically. Good when you want people to read the descriptions
- Horizontal scroll — cards in a single row, shown by scrolling sideways. Good for lining up many without taking vertical space
- Carousel — cards shown one large at a time, advancing by swipe. Good for showing them one by one
Color-code by category
When you enter categories, "Category colors" appears near the bottom of the "Content" tab. There you can pick a color per category. Cards with the same category show in the same color, so people can tell types apart by color, like "new work in red, commissions in blue."
- Choosing a color applies it to the category tags in every view
- The text color is adjusted automatically to match the background
- Categories without a color show in a default color matched to your theme. "Reset to default" restores it
Set the design
The cards' background color, corner radius, border, and spacing are set by your theme. To change the whole theme, see Choose a theme and change the design.
Supported images and sizes
- Formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, AVIF
- Size per image: up to 30MB
Once your cards are in place, tidy up the whole look on Choose a theme and change the design.
